North Queensland Adventure Kayak Tours - "In Harmony with Nature"

G’day, and welcome to North Queensland Adventure Kayak ToursWHAT WE DO AND WHERE WE GO

We are Townsville and North Queensland's first fully guided, fully equipped , and fully catered, kayak tours. We are also the only kayak tour business in the region where the guide on your tour is, Swiftwater Rescue Operator, trained and accredited. (With the accreditation being Internationally recognised). The business and all tours are also Ecotourism Australia Certified. All our tours are locally with-in a 350 kilometer radius of Townsville. We are also a Tourism Australia Accredited Business, offering an authentic experience of nature based eco-friendly kayak tours. With all meals and equipment supplied. Including pick-up and set-down for the out of town full day tours, and the overnight/extended tours. Group bookings are from one address. (Pickup does not currently include the half day tours, and the Ross River and Ocean full day tours. We meet at the launch site).

From half day tours through to four day self sufficient, fully equipped and catered, camping tours.

We carry everything required for our “In harmony with nature” tour, on the kayaks with us.

With the accommodation tents being on a share with another participant basis. Either as a couple, or men only and women only tent share. Or you have the option of sleeping in a single swag.

We conduct Lake tours, river tours, and ocean tours, all around the North Queensland region.

It’s your choice of tour.

You simply choose, then book the tour that you want to do, on any of our 16 speciality tours.

Each tour is an Ecotourism Australia certified, educational adventure.

Bookings and payments are available online through our very secure booking page.

We supply everything, including the 30+ sunscreen. We also clean up any rubbish we find along the way.

Please book a few days in advance for the out of town and extended tours. This allows us to book the hire bus we are using.

INFORMATIONAL UPDATES

Are you a single, or a couple, and want to do a tour, but can't get the minimum number or a group together to do a tour? No probs. Then please give us a call or use the contact page, and we will try to arrange a tour for the date you want, or near. Others are in the same boat and wanting to do a tour.

Barra Season is now open. Come and catch one in a kayak.

The cooler ocean waters will be here soon. Which means the Doggie and Spotted mackerel, with the cobia, will also be here in close. Great fun in a kayak. Get a few mates together and organise a fun fishing tour.

TOUR UPDATES

Three day Greenvale trip. Queens Birthday long weekend. 11th June. Join us and relax.

The Greenvale 2 day tours are currently CLOSED and will be a little while yet. Cannot get a machine in to fix the washout on the access track. Still a bit wet. Got the grader bogged there on Saturday 31-3-12.

NEW TOUR ADDED - Twilight tour down the Ross River. Come for a night trip down the river. Plenty to see.

OCTOBER - 4 Day Greenvale trip. I have a lady very keen to do this trip but doesnt know anyone to ask. Can you help her do this trip by joining the tour. A date to be fixed in October to suit your needs. UPDATE - available from 9th onwards.

After the Half Day and Full Day Tours, and if you are feeling hungry, I am pleased to also offer, in conjunction with Irish Finnegans Bistro, a meal (from off their lunch menu only) and a cold beverage for only $10. Available for lunch or dinner.
