As all the tours are all self sufficient, means that there are no pre-arranged camping sites. We have everything we need with us on the kayaks. We just paddle at our own pace until it’s near the end of the day, (around 1530hrs), where we then find a suitable spot to camp and set-up for the night. With the first job being preparing the camp, everyone gets firewood. That’s so you can stretch your legs before you set-up your own camp. You then do what you think is best for you to relax and enjoy the scenery, and soak in the serenity. Or you can go and explore the surrounding area on foot (with your camera), fish, swim, read, chat about the day, have a solar shower, or enjoy your cold beer or wine that you have bought with you. All while dinner is being prepared by your guide. You can even help prepare dinner if you want to. And even better, help with the washing up. And we leave the site the way we found it. Clean. |
